Holy Mother of God, That's a Big Statue


Triple A notes that at 180 tons, this is one of the larger Marian statues in the United States. I said a prayer for safe passage and of thanksgiving that I was finally off of I-80.

Tree Rock


This tree has been a tourist attraction since the Union Pacific Railroad was routed around it in 1867. It now stands on the median of I-80, making me wonder how many lives it has claimed over the years. As you can see, it was quite windy.
