Snug as a Bug

"Whoooo are yooooo?"

I just thought this snail looked cozy perched atop a Darkening Russula.

Mushrooms

Three mushrooms on the Cape Alava trail. The one on the far left is of the genus Amanita, responsible for ninety-five percent of all mushroom fatalities. The one on the right, however, seems to be a favorite of the banana slugs.
