Right on schedule, the sockeye begin their upstream journey. Right behind them come the bears and the tourists. This is the shot people travel thousands of miles for.
A fairly typical evening at the falls. It's interesting to watch the social interactions between the bears; they're almost like primates. Sorry you guys won't get to see them in person. Tomorrow I leave for the preserve, weather permitting as always. Look for pictures of my trophy trout in about two weeks.
